The design is modeled after Sukiya-style architecture, featuring pilasters and lintels in the bedroom; the walls are entirely covered with Kyoto washi paper, the floor is lined with cypress planks sourced from Kyoto Prefecture and covered with tatami mats,
and the ceiling is paneled with cedar and cypress planks from Kyoto Prefecture. The traditional Japanese latticework evokes the high windows found in tea rooms.
Kyoto Room
This room features a sukiya-style design that captures the essence of Kyoto.
Based on the “Sukiya-style” concept, which originated from the design of traditional tea rooms, we have expressed the essence of Kyoto and the spirit of hospitality.
